Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and market disruptions to forecast industry impacts by 2026
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and innovation across business units
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for potential futures and identify opportunity vectors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on future technology landscapes
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology forecasting or strategic innovation roles
- Proven expertise in analyzing AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology trends
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong background in ethical technology frameworks and responsible innovation
- Published author or frequent speaker at future-tech conferences
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
