Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum applications, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI and responsible innovation
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor junior technologists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in futurist or innovation roles
- Proven track record of launching commercialized emerging tech solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or climate techCertifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or advanced STEM degrees preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating published thought leadership on future technologies
