As the 2026 Vision Lead, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global think tanks to identify disruptive trends and translate them into competitive advantages. Your work will directly shape multi-billion dollar investments and influence industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and market opportunities
- Produce executive-ready foresight reports with actionable recommendations for R&D, product development, and market expansion
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and innovation hubs
- Monitor geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and socioeconomic factors impacting 2026 strategic priorities
- Present strategic vision to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Drive organizational adoption of foresight methodologies across business units
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futures research, or innovation consulting with proven 2030+ foresight experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, AGI, climate tech) and their societal implications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Track record of influencing C-suite decisions with long-term strategic recommendations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones
