Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual horizon scanning reports on disruptive technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and global megatrends
- Design strategic frameworks for long-term product roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions using emerging tech (AI, quantum, bioengineering)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present trend analyses and scenario planning to executive leadership and board members
- Drive innovation culture through internal 'future literacy' training programs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks implemented at scale
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or AC/SF) strongly preferred
