Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across tech, climate, and social domains to identify 2026+ opportunities
- Develop and operationalize long-term innovation roadmaps aligned with C-suite vision
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen solutions in AI, sustainability, and human augmentation
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global think tanks
- Translate complex future scenarios into executive-ready insights and investment recommendations
- Drive organizational adoption of foresight methodologies through workshops and training
- Report directly to the Chief Innovation Officer on emerging disruptors and strategic pivots
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and disruptive technology assessment
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Deep understanding of 2026 technology vectors: AGI, quantum computing, climate tech, biotech
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and rapid change cycles
