Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop data-driven innovation roadmaps aligned with C-suite strategic priorities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and investment teams
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future-vision narratives to investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully implemented future-vision initiatives
