Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify paradigm-shifting technologies and market opportunities
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ technological inflection points
- Design and execute prototype initiatives in emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives and R&D teams
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future workforce transformation
- Manage venture partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Measure innovation KPIs using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/bio-convergence)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology roadmapping methodologies
- Strong network with innovation labs (MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, STEEP analysis)
- Experience leading cross-geographic R&D teams in agile environments
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized future-tech innovations
