Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and geopolitical developments impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future market opportunities
- Present compelling future-state narratives to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future industry trends
- Integrate foresight insights into corporate strategy, R&D pipelines, and go-to-market plans
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience developing long-term strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from foresight organizations)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects and published thought leadership
