Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies and investment opportunities
- Drive innovation governance frameworks balancing technological advancement with ethical considerations
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior strategists and build future-ready technical talent pipelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused tech initiatives with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong business acumen with experience in product development and commercialization
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
