Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends for 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research for next-gen tech solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage R&D budgets and vendor partnerships for experimental technologies
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future technology trends
- Mentor junior strategists in scenario planning and risk assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning tools
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $5M for R&D initiatives
