Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, prioritizing emerging fields like quantum AI and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging biotechnology, nanotechnology, and distributed systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with global academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property frameworks for next-gen technologies
- Direct $50M+ R&D budgets with ROI-focused technology commercialization strategies
- Mentor C-suite executives on disruptive technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Chair the Future Ethics Council ensuring responsible innovation implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 10+ years in strategic tech leadership
- Proven track record commercializing at least two emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Published research in Nature/Science with 50+ citations in emerging tech domains
- Deep understanding of geopolitical tech policy frameworks (CHIPS Act, EU AI Act)
- Experience managing >100-person multidisciplinary technical teams
- Proficiency in technology valuation models and venture capital ecosystem dynamics
