Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and market disruptors through 2026+
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market evolution
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for tech adoption and disruption
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and influence R&D investment priorities
- Build cross-functional partnerships between engineering, product, and commercial teams
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at industry conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, Web3, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating tech trends into business strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and market disruption modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech or business publications
