Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with global business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) for commercialization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concept projects with potential $10M+ market impact
- Conduct horizon-scanning research and competitive analysis in futuristic tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to the Innovation Board with data-backed ROI projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for cutting-edge R&D
- Mentor emerging talent through our Future Leaders incubation program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record launching at least 2 breakthrough technologies with >$5M revenue impact
- Expertise in at least 3 futuristic domains: quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, or metaverse infrastructure
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools
- Experience securing federal grants for advanced R&D projects
- Portfolio of published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
