Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and evaluating emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Produce detailed technology forecasts and competitive intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Design innovation frameworks to accelerate prototyping and pilot programs for breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Mentor R&D teams on future-focused methodologies and disruptive thinking
- Present technology roadmaps and innovation initiatives to C-suite and board members
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership within tech-forward organizations
- Proven expertise in forecasting technological trends and market disruption scenarios
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Track record of successfully launching innovative products or services with significant market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field required
- Strong presentation and communication skills with executive audiences
- Experience managing cross-functional innovation teams and budgets over $5M
