- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, AI ethics)
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive market shifts in 2026+ landscape
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage R&D partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Drive innovation sprints to prototype future-forward solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on technology evolution
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven experience with emerging tech ecosystems (blockchain, biotech, AGI)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management expertise
- Certification in technology forecasting or innovation methodologies
- Demonstrated success in launching at least two futuristic products/solutions
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and societal impact of emerging tech
