Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research and adoption of emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech)
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and executive teams to prioritize innovation initiatives
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for future tech landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strategic planning certification (e.g., CSCP, TOGAF) preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Track record of launching disruptive tech products/services
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
