Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech disruptors (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption ROI and innovation pipeline efficiency
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget and vendor partnerships
- Author thought leadership reports on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT)
- Expertise in futures research methodologies and scenario planning
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech investment analysis
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and technology portfolio management
- Exceptional communication with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
