- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research to identify strategic opportunities
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and investors
- Mentor innovation teams on agile methodologies for rapid prototyping
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Represent company at global tech summits and standards bodies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching AI, blockchain, or IoT solutions at scale
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Innovation Management (SIM) or equivalent
- Experience with patent analysis and competitive technology intelligence
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through data-driven insights
