Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen systems with $2M+ annual R&D budget
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Forge industry partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Drive patent development for proprietary innovations (target: 15+ new patents)
- Oversee technology incubation programs for moonshot projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years experience in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 companies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record launching at least 3 category-defining products
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- C-level executive presentation experience with $1B+ impact cases
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Security clearance eligibility for federal research partnerships
