Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with commercial potential
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Quantify ROI for futuristic technologies through market analysis and prototyping
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and investors
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight
- Strong financial modeling and market analysis capabilities
- Experience scaling tech ventures from concept to market
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
