Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026+ commercial potential
- Develop and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technology applications
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive stakeholders with quantified ROI projections
- Build and manage an external innovation network including startups, research institutions, and venture partners
- Champion emerging technology adoption across product, engineering, and marketing divisions
- Monitor competitive technology landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting future tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership with proven impact on future technology adoption
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence, or sustainable tech systems
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with experience translating complex tech concepts into business strategies
- Track record of launching technology initiatives with measurable market impact (portfolio examples required)
- Strong analytical capabilities using data-driven forecasting models and scenario planning frameworks
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite decisions through compelling data narratives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD or MBA preferred)
