Responsibilities
- Architect scalable solutions for 2026-era technologies including quantum machine learning and bio-integrated systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen user interfaces for AR/VR ecosystems
- Develop strategic roadmaps for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Secure patents for novel technological approaches and intellectual property
- Mentor junior engineers in future-proof development methodologies
- Present technology blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capitalists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in systems architecture with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum, neuromorphic, or synthetic biology)
- Proven track record shipping production systems for future-facing applications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neural interface protocols, or generative AI ethics
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in future-proof languages (Rust, Haskell, or emerging quantum frameworks)
- Experience securing $5M+ in research grants or venture funding
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies
