Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic roadmaps for 2026's emerging tech landscape (AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation solutions with 5+ year implementation horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for technological disruptions
- Develop patentable frameworks for human-AI symbiosis in enterprise environments
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite clients and industry consortiums
- Maintain partnerships with academic labs and government innovation initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5+ year planning cycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications (e.g., Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience scaling innovative concepts from prototype to global implementation
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Portfolio of implemented solutions with measurable societal impact
- Security clearance preferred for federal collaboration projects
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, or equivalent)
