- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Build strategic partnerships with research labs, startups, and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven 2020s innovation track record
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience scaling technologies from R&D to commercial deployment
- Strong proficiency in data-driven forecasting tools and scenario planning
