Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuromorphic systems)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscaping for 2026+ tech domains
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders
- Drive ethical technology governance frameworks for next-gen deployments
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI governance, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech focus
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and technology adoption curves
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic tech implementations with measurable impact
