Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI governance, and climate tech initiatives
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with global impact potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive market potential
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive ethics-by-design frameworks for autonomous systems and AI deployment
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology incubation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough technologies (quantum, AI, or biotech)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and corporate venture capital
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, Science) or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Technology Strategy from MIT Sloan or similar program
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, R, or C++)
