Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for strategic relevance
- Develop technology adoption roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor competitive tech landscapes and disruption vectors
- Build and mentor an innovation-focused team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- PhD or Master's in relevant technical field preferred
