Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 3-5 year market potential
- Lead strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology forecasts and innovation strategies to executive leadership
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile innovation methodologies
- File patents for novel technology integration approaches
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or synthetic biology
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong background in intellectual property strategy and patent development
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
