Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, decentralized systems)
- Produce forward-looking market analysis reports and competitive technology roadmaps
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget through compelling business cases and ROI projections
- Establish strategic partnerships with leading research institutions and technology pioneers
- Present future technology visions to executive stakeholders and boards of directors
- Mentor R&D teams on emerging technology integration and implementation frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of successfully launching future-focused initiatives (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with PhD preferred
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains with published research
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and managing P&L for R&D
- Strong network connections with technology VCs, academic institutions, and industry bodies
