Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) into core product strategy
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives spanning 3+ departments with agile methodologies
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor a team of 5+ technologists and researchers in future-focused skill development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, neuromorphic computing)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of experimental technologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management
- Experience securing $1M+ in R&D funding or grants
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
