- Develop and implement a 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members
- Build partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Author thought leadership content and speak at global tech conferences
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (e.g., published reports)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and risk mitigation frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology strategy implementation
