Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning quantum AI, biocomputing, and climate tech initiatives with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen technologies through our Innovation Accelerator program
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, quantum encryption) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and secure $10M+ annual innovation budgets
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies to pioneer federally funded R&D projects
- Mentor a 15-person innovation lab while publishing thought leadership in IEEE Nature journals
- Drive sustainability integration in all technology deployments to achieve net-zero operational goals by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 10+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful exits or IPOs)
- Expertise in AI/ML frameworks, quantum algorithms, and sustainable tech architectures
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or equivalent) with 50+ citations
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or corporate innovation funding >$5M
- Proficiency in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning tools
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to C-suite and board members
