- Lead R&D initiatives for emerging tech ecosystems (quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Design innovation frameworks for sustainable tech adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-driven allocation
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or equivalent preferred
- Experience managing high-budget innovation portfolios
- Published thought leadership in tech journals
