Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge research in emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Design and execute advanced experiments in quantum computing or AI systems
- Develop predictive models for sustainable energy solutions
- Collaborate with MIT/Stanford partners on open-source innovation projects
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF/NASA partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in our Future Tech Fellowship program
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at Davos
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Machine Learning, or Sustainable Engineering
- 5+ years experience in DARPA or equivalent research environments
- Published author in top-tier scientific journals
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, or quantum programming languages
- Proven track record of translating research to commercial products
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
- Fluency in English and Mandarin/Japanese for global collaboration
