Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product managers to prototype and launch cutting-edge solutions
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate R&D
- Present technology forecasts and innovation proposals to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Establish governance frameworks for emerging technologies, ensuring ethical implementation and compliance
- Mentor junior talent and foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation
- Monitor patent landscapes and competitive intelligence to maintain technological advantage
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in strategic innovation roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., Google AI, AWS Machine Learning)
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Prior experience representing organizations at global tech summits (e.g., Web Summit, CES)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
