Responsibilities
- Develop the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Define the strategic vision and technical milestones for the company’s products and services leading up to and through 2026.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Quantum Computing, Edge Computing) to identify high-impact opportunities for the business.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product and engineering leads to translate high-level business goals into technical execution plans.
- Investment & Resource Allocation: Assess the viability of new technologies and guide budget allocation for R&D initiatives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders in a compelling, executive-ready format.
- Competitive Intelligence: Benchmark against industry leaders to ensure our technological trajectory remains ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, product management, or a related engineering role with a focus on future trends.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Visionary Thinking: Demonstrated ability to anticipate future market shifts and technological disruptions.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives from concept to completion.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of software architecture, AI/ML, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
