Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps for 2026, aligning with global market trends and company vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching, prototyping, and validating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech fusion)
- Identify disruptive opportunities and build business cases for new ventures with potential $100M+ impact
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech initiatives into core business operations
- Represent the company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership on 2026 technology forecasts
- Maintain competitive intelligence through continuous analysis of startups, academic research, and geopolitical shifts
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with rigorous ROI tracking and risk mitigation protocols
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management with proven 2020s tech adoption success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AI ethics frameworks
- Advanced degree (PhD/MSc) in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics preferred
- Published author or keynote speaker at major tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
- Experience scaling technologies from concept to commercial deployment in regulated industries
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and data-driven forecasting methodologies
