Responsibilities
- Architect and implement 5-year tech roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neural interfaces, decentralized AI)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging theoretical science and commercial applications
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen technologies with global regulatory bodies
- Drive innovation sprints using Design Thinking and Agile Methodologies for futuristic solutions
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to integrate 2026-era technologies into current ecosystems
- Mentor teams in future-proofing methodologies and anticipatory design principles
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology leadership with demonstrable impact on future-focused initiatives
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with published research
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI safety, or bio-digital interfaces
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to global implementation
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for experimental tech programs
- Deep network within DARPA, IEEE Future Directions, or similar innovation ecosystems
