- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3 integration) with commercial potential
- Architect innovation frameworks for next-gen product development lifecycle
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and integrate emerging startups
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive board and investor committees
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness across engineering, marketing, and operations
- Mentor cross-functional teams in strategic thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology leadership with proven 5+ year forecasting success
- Expertise in emerging tech trends (AI, biotech, sustainable tech) with published industry insights
- Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, or Futures Studies; MBA or PhD preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or disruption strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or innovation management
- Experience scaling teams from concept to market leadership
