Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' teams to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop patent strategies for emerging tech innovations with potential $1B+ market opportunities
- Present strategic briefings to board members and investors on future tech adoption curves
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused technology prototyping initiatives
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA JPL, and other future-tech research institutions
- Mentor next-gen technologists through our Future Leaders incubation program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two category-defining tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in emerging tech ecosystems: AGI, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures scenarios
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals (Nature, Science, or IEEE Spectrum)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from WFS or APF
