Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2026+
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop implementation frameworks for scaling experimental technologies into production
- Manage R&D budgets and partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor a team of futurists and technologists in rapid prototyping methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-defining tech products
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Strong background in venture capital, corporate innovation, or academic R&D
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ in high-growth environments
