Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and human augmentation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen interfaces and autonomous systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats/opportunities in biotech and nanotechnology
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for decentralized governance of AI ecosystems
- Partner with VCs to incubate spin-offs targeting 2026+ market disruptions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and government technology councils
- Mentor fellows in future scenario planning and exponential technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar on future technology trajectories
- Proven track record leading $10M+ R&D initiatives with measurable exponential outcomes
- Mastery of scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Deep expertise in at least one exponential domain: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on 2030+ technology disruption
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
