- Identify and integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Drive innovation through competitive analysis and patent strategy
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation for strategic initiatives
- Mentor senior engineers and foster an experimental culture
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in innovation strategy
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, and exponential technologies
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- Strong background in venture capital or corporate innovation
- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Published thought leader in tech futurism (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping
