- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum/neural interface systems
- Secure $10M+ in government/private innovation grants
- Develop patent portfolios for 2026-era breakthrough technologies
- Partner with academic institutions to commercialize lab-scale innovations
- Present strategic visions to C-suite boards and venture capitalists
- Maintain competitive analysis of global future-tech landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with proven tech commercialization track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- PhD in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent demonstrable innovation
- History of securing $5M+ in innovation funding
- Published research in IEEE/Nature or equivalent tier
- Experience scaling technical teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Deep familiarity with DARPA/EU Horizon Europe funding mechanisms
