Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the architecture of complex, distributed systems capable of handling massive scale and real-time data processing.
- Lead the R&D efforts into emerging technologies, specifically focusing on AI integration and quantum computing readiness.
- Define technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices to ensure code quality and system reliability.
- Mentor and guide a team of senior engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and architectural reviews to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architect role.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and big data processing tools (Spark, Hadoop).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
