Job Description
We are at the precipice of a new era. In 2026, the boundary between biological and digital intelligence will blur. Horizon Nexus Labs is seeking a visionary Future Systems Architect to design the infrastructure that powers the next generation of human-machine synergy. If you are passionate about shaping the technological landscape of tomorrow, this is your opportunity to lead the charge.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical engineering, building systems that are not only scalable but ethically sound and infinitely adaptable. You will work alongside world-class researchers and engineers to define the standards of the 2026 digital ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Neural Infrastructures: Design and implement robust, low-latency systems for next-generation neural interfaces and brain-computer interfaces (BCI).
- Quantum Integration: Oversee the integration of hybrid quantum-classical computing protocols into existing cloud architectures.
- Ethical AI Governance: Develop technical frameworks to ensure AI autonomy remains aligned with human values and safety standards.
- System Scalability: Engineer solutions capable of processing petabytes of real-time synthetic data with zero downtime.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product teams to translate futuristic concepts into deployable code.
- R&D Strategy: Identify emerging technologies (e.g., advanced robotics, holographic computing) and evaluate their feasibility for our core product suite.
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in systems architecture, with a focus on AI, machine learning, or high-performance computing.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, Rust, and C++. Experience with quantum computing libraries (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq) is a major plus.
- Agile Mindset: Proven ability to work in fast-paced, R&D environments where requirements evolve rapidly.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to deconstruct complex problems into manageable, solvable components.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
