Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using predictive analytics and trend forecasting
- Lead moonshot projects integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology
- Facilitate design sprints with C-suite executives to solve existential business challenges
- Build and mentor an interdisciplinary team of futurists, engineers, and behavioral scientists
- Present strategic blueprints to boards and investors with compelling data narratives
- Establish industry partnerships with NASA, MIT Media Lab, and global policy institutes
- Author thought leadership publications in peer-reviewed journals and mainstream media
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized future-facing technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and weak signal detection
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published author in innovation or futurism (books, patents, or major journals)
- Fluency in at least one strategic foresight methodology (e.g., Delphi, STEEP)
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for experimental research initiatives
