Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, including vital signs and treatment responses
- Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precise documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and all regulatory healthcare standards
Qualifications
- Valid RN license or eligibility for New York State licensure by endorsement
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care setting
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, medication administration, and emergency response
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
