Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tobacco, corn, soybeans)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Maintain crop quality through regular field inspections
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers per EPA guidelines
- Assist with packing and loading harvested products
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Participate in team-based field operations
Qualifications
- Must be H2A visa eligible with proper documentation
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic English communication skills
- Previous farm experience highly valued
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work 10-12 hour shifts during peak season
