Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops using manual and mechanical techniques
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, planters, and harvesters
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols
- Maintain irrigation systems and field equipment
- Sort, grade, and pack harvested produce
- Perform field inspections and report crop health issues
- Adhere to all safety regulations and sustainable farming practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of crop farming experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- No prior H2A visa sponsorship required
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to operate farm machinery with training
